Join our Solution Engineering team as a Senior Solution Engineer. In this dynamic role, you will lead the solution and delivery approach design activities for software and embedded solutions across diverse domains such as IoT, IIoT, Industrial Automation, AI/ML, Automotive, Healthcare, and Robotics. 

Your expertise will bridge client needs with optimal solutions, contributing to both pre-sales success and project delivery excellence. 

What you will do: 

- Lead end-to-end processing of incoming opportunities from new and current clients (from technical qualification to project kickoff); 

- Facilitate solution design activities, taking into account business goals, technical requirements and associated constraints; 

- Contribute to selling strategy negotiations with a focus on technical solution; 

- Work with a team of SMEs to define an appropriate technical solution that matches both Client’s needs and Softeq expertise; 

- Conduct requirements elicitation, clarification and documentation to reduce business and technical uncertainty and ensure high quality of target estimates 

- Prepare preliminary roadmaps, timelines and project plans to reflect key project milestones and dependencies, from top-level (phases) to detailed (sprints) view; 

- Facilitate proposals development and their delivery on time with proper quality; 

- Maintain effective relationships and communication with internal and external teams. 

- Manage and mentor small to medium technical teams (3-7 members) to ensure quality and alignment in solution delivery. 

- Contribute to the solution delivery by providing strategic guidance and consultancy to Production teams based on the project knowledge gained during pre-production activities. 

Key Requirements: 

- Proven experience in presales activities or having worked with customers and sales directly; 

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (B2+ level). 

- Familiarity with software/hardware pricing models (Time and Materials, Fixed Price). 

- Proven ability to contribute to several ongoing projects and lead small to medium teams (3-7 people) under tight deadlines. 

- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the specifics of Software and Embedded projects delivery; 

- Ability to discuss project approach and guide the customers on the fly (propose recommendations, outline risks/dependencies, etc.); 

- Attention to details and processes; 

- Good presentation skills; 

- Team player and leader. 

Nice to have: 

- Experience with projects consisting of various software and/or hardware components (e.g., Hardware/Firmware, Backend, Frontend, Mobile);` 

- Knowledge of hardware design, manufacturing, and certification processes. 

- Understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO), capital expenditure (CAPEX), and operational expenditure (OPEX); 

- Business communication skills with C-level stakeholders; 

- Experience in the following domains: IoT, Industrial Automation, AI/Machine Learning.
