SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Proven sales hunter to drive our growing business in the United States! In the Business Development Manager role, you will be responsible for the business development (sales) of our services business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling services, a deep understanding of the USA market, and the ability to drive revenue growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Business Development Manager, you will serve as front-line sales contributor responsible for identifying, creating and managing new sales opportunities to win new revenue.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and objectives to meet and exceed revenue and profit objectives.
- Successfully manage and close large $1M+ enterprise transactions.
- Efficiently manage and close small transactional opportunities.
- Accurately and consistently project revenue timing (forecasting).
- Develop and follow a business plan specific to the unique requirements of the territory or named accounts.
- Triage Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to determine if it transitions to a Sales Qualified Lead (SQL).
- Create call plans and prepare other Team members for their responsibilities during prospect and customer calls.
- Execute Sales Plans.
- Consistent and timely CRM updating for meetings, calls, conferences and email activity as well as full sales cycle deal management.
- Create executive relationships with prospects.
- Manage and expand executive relationships with existing customers.
- Create and/or manage Partner relationships in the objectives to win collaborative revenue.
- Participate in conferences.
- Attend and build network with local events, groups, associations, etc…
- Be a key participant in companies CSAT objectives
- Work closely, efficiently and professionally with other Softeq Teams.
- Provide insights to leadership on market trends and competitive activities. Recommend strategies to respond to them.
- Enthusiastically participate in companies “EOS” strategy.
- Define agreed quarterly “Rocks” with manager and execute on a quarterly basis.
- Enter weekly check-in and priorities information.
- Be committed to continuous learning for market, industry and technology pursuant to Softeq’s business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of business development selling technical consulting/services.
- Proven track record for consistently closing large and transactional services.
- Bachelor's degree in business, technical or a related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience developing new mid-level and executive relationships.
- CRM experience, HubSpot preferred.
- USA market experience (consistent with the advertised location).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional character.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales goals.
- 15-30% travel requirement (calendar year) within the USA. Ability to travel internationally if necessary.
