Softeq is looking for an engineer to join our System Development department. You will take part in the development of media streaming software. In this role, you’ll work on projects for innovative tech startups and Fortune 500 enterprises.

Required skills:

• 2+ years C++/STL/CMake experience in commercial projects.
• Strong C, C++ (11/14/17) programming skills.
• Experience with video media streaming (gstreamer, ffmpeg and other) and\or image processing.
• Basics of software design patterns and covering code with Unit Tests.
• Good algorithmic thinking.
• Experience in Linux.
• Experience with collaboration tools (i.e. GIT, JIRA, and Confluence) and software configuration tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one’s own workgroup.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.

What you’ll do:

• Taking part in designing software architecture.
• Developing and debugging c\c++ source code for media streaming, capture devices, and encoders/decoders (like NVIDIA) processing.
• Developing video storage and streaming applications.
• Writing unit tests.
