RESPONSIBILITIES: 

· Identify & document test scenarios according to the functional and technical requirements of the applications in scope. Understand customer demands and product objectives to create and execute test cases;
· Develop automated test cases through Katalon studio which will be used in the Continuous Integration pipelines of the projects in scope; 

· Assist in debugging/troubleshooting production issues and test the reported issues and ensure that necessary automated validations are in place to prevent a recurrence; 
· Handling technical communications and understanding customer needs; 

· Analyze test coverage and increase test coverage continuously; 

· Participate in performance testing of the applications; 

· Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different systems; 

· Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· At least 3 years of experience in QA automation using Katalon studio or Java; 

· Experience with QA concepts and methodology; 

· Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment and utilizing virtual machines;

· Knowledge of implementation of test automation through Katalon studio and other industry-standard test automation tools and experience developing product test harnesses; 

· Experience working closely with development and business teams; 

· Experience with TestNG framework; · Experience working with testing tools such as Postman; 

· Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills; 

· Debugging/troubleshooting experience on performance and stability tools; 

· Experience with Gitlab for source code management and CI pipeline implementations or similar tools; 

· Basic understanding of Java & industry-standard Web Application frameworks (Angular/React JS); 

· Basic understanding of AWS Cloud Services; 

· Basic understanding of SQL scripting. (Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
